An oversized crewneck sweatshirt in brushed-back fleece, with a dropped shoulder, a ribbed neckband, ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem. The body is wide and short through the torso rather than long and narrow, which is what keeps an oversized fit from looking like a size up. The shoulder seam sits out on the upper arm, so the sleeve falls without a fold at the crown. Shown in soft pink; the block runs in greys, creams and custom dyed shades.

Brushed-back fleece is knitted as a loop pile and then brushed on the inside after dyeing, which is what produces the soft, slightly napped surface. The part buyers underestimate is shrinkage: loop fleece is unstable in length, so the panel is washed and tumble-relaxed before cutting, or the finished body will shorten after the first domestic wash. A dropped shoulder also changes the pattern - the armhole is lower and wider, so the sleeve has to be recut rather than simply extended. If the ribbed hem is narrower than the body by too much, it pulls the side seams inward and the sweatshirt hangs like a bag.
