Women's Printed Cotton Tie Front Vest, Loungewear Manufacturer
A sleeveless cotton vest with a V neck, a self-fabric tie at the front and patch pockets, printed with a vertical wavy line on a brown ground. It is cut to sit over a cami or a tee and close with a single tie at the waist, so the front hangs in two panels rather than buttoning flat. The print runs in one direction only, which means the panels have to be cut from the same print direction or the waves will meet at the centre front. Shown in brown wave; ground colour and wave scale can both be changed.

A directional print is the constraint that decides how the pattern is laid. On a wavy vertical, every panel has to be cut in the same direction, or the fronts will mirror each other and the waves will run against each other down the centre. That usually means more fabric per garment, and it is the number to check before quoting: a rail-straight stripe can be nested, a wave cannot. The tie is cut from the same cloth and edge-finished, and the V is faced rather than bound, so the neckline keeps the print up to the edge instead of showing a band.
