Materials for the way your pajamas feel

Fabric Options for Kids’ Pajamas

Choose the fabric around your intended fit, season and hand feel. Our team can compare suitable sourcing options, with the composition, weight and finish confirmed for your project.

01

Cotton

Explore jersey for a relaxed knit set, interlock for a different surface and body, or woven cotton for a more defined button-front silhouette.

Consider construction, stretch and the preferred finished weight.
02

Viscose &
Bamboo Viscose

Bamboo viscose belongs within the viscose family. These fabrics offer a direction for softly draped kids’ pajamas, with knit structure and stretch selected around the style.

Confirm the actual fiber blend and review a sample swatch.
03

Modal &
Cotton-Modal

Modal and cotton-modal blends are options for a soft hand and fluid outline. Discuss the weight and stretch you want alongside the top and pant proportions.

Explore blends around feel, coverage and intended fit.
04

Seasonal
Fabric Options

For a cooler-season collection, ask about brushed cotton or flannel directions. We review suitable fabrics around the design and sourcing requirements.

Specific fabrics and finishes are confirmed during development.

A fabric name alone does not establish a finished garment’s performance or certification. Share any material documentation requirements with your initial brief.

Kids’ Sizing, Fit and Construction

Start with your intended age group, size chart and reference fit. We develop the garment proportions through sampling, then confirm the measurement and grading requirements for your range.

Selected development points · Measurements agreed for your project

A

Neckline & Dressing

Review the neckline opening, finish and any fastenings with the intended age group and garment construction.

B

Body Proportions & Lengths

Work through chest room, top length, sleeve shape, rise and leg length together, using your size chart as the starting point.

C

Waistband & Movement

Define the waistband construction and fit with the pant proportions, fabric stretch and intended movement.

D

Cuffs, Seams & Trims

Specify sleeve and leg openings, seam finishes and decorative details around the fabric and next-to-skin feel.

Confirm the target market before finalizing the specification.

Children’s sleepwear requirements vary by product and market. Share your sales destination, age range and testing or labeling requirements early. A snug-looking sample alone does not establish that a garment meets a regulatory tight-fitting definition; applicable dimensions, construction, labeling and testing need to be reviewed for the project.
