Women's Wholesale Tencel Modal V-Neck Cami and Shortie Set
A two-piece summer sleep set in a modal jersey: a V-neck cami with adjustable straps and a matching shortie short, both finished with a fine white picot trim at the neckline and hem. The cami is cut with a deep V and a straight hem that sits at the high hip, so it drapes away from the body instead of clinging. The short is a true shortie - short in the leg, close at the waist - which is what separates this set from a boxer-length sleep short. Modal is the reason it hangs the way it does: the fibre is finer than cotton and takes a softer drape, and it holds colour deeply, which is why the fig shade reads saturated rather than washed out. Picot trim on a stretch knit is a finishing problem before it is a design one. The trim is a narrow woven band with a scalloped edge, and it is applied to a jersey edge that wants to curl, so the seam has to be run with the trim under slight tension and the jersey relaxed - the other way round produces a wavy neckline after the first wash. The V-neck is drafted with a deeper point than a scoop, which means the strap angle carries more of the bust weight; that is why the straps are adjustable, and why the slider is a metal one rather than plastic on a garment at this price point. The shortie hem gets the same trim as the neckline, applied flat so the scallop sits against the leg rather than standing away from it. Modal jersey is cut and sewn with a narrow overlock and washed before packing; without the wash, the set would shrink a full size at the customer.
