OEM/ODM Men's Modal Short Pajama Set
A men's short set in a modal jersey: a plain crew neck tee with a set-in sleeve and a straight hem, over a relaxed short with side seam pockets and a drawcord on an elasticated waist. The neckline is the piece that separates a sleep tee from a cheap one - a crew neck on a knit has to be banded with a rib that recovers, or it stretches open after the third wash and the whole set reads as a promotional giveaway. The short is cut with a longer rise and a wider leg than a sport short, so it stays cool without looking like gym wear. Shown in heather grey; the same block runs in desert sage, and the ground colour, drawcord and pocket style can all be reset.
Neckline & Pocket — Men's Modal Short Set
Men's sleepwear is bought on two details: the neckline and the pocket. A crew neck banded in a poor rib will stretch and stand away from the collarbone within a few washes, so the band is cut from a 1x1 rib with spandex content, attached under slight tension and cover-stitched from the inside. That tension is the whole trick - band it slack and it waves; band it tight and it puckers the shoulder. The side seam pocket is set into the seam rather than patched on, so it disappears when empty and holds a phone without dragging the short sideways; the pocket bag is a lighter jersey so it does not print through the leg in a photograph. Modal jersey has a soft hand and a tendency to grow under its own weight, so the short is cut marginally shorter in the leg than the finished measurement suggests, and the whole set is washed before packing. The drawcord runs in a channel with two metal-free tips, so nothing scratches in the wash.
