Custom Men's Pajama Manufacturer for Your Brand
Develop men’s pajamas around your designs, fabric preferences and target fit. KoalaPurr brings sampling, garment production and private label details together for your next sleepwear collection.
Men's pajama styles we manufacture
Four product families cover most men's sleepwear programs: long-sleeve sets, short-sleeve sets, T-shirt sets and robes. Each one below is developed from a reference sample or tech pack, so the construction, fabric and finish are what you are choosing from rather than a fixed catalogue.

Woven Cotton Long Pajama Set
A classic woven cotton shirt-and-pants set with a notch collar and chest pocket. Top and bottom are cut from the same fabric lot, so the shade stays matched after washing.

Striped Cotton Short Pajama Set
A camp-collar cotton shirt paired with drawstring shorts. A reference for warm-weather and resort sleepwear, where the short leg and open collar do the work.

Cotton T-Shirt Pajama Set
A pullover crew-neck tee with matching bottoms in cotton jersey. No placket and no collar, so the fit lives in the neckline and shoulder — the style most men actually wear at home.

Turkish Cotton Terry Robe
Shawl and kimono collars, patch pockets, self-tie belts and hanger loops. Robe programs need length and belt width fixed early — both change fabric consumption per unit.

From a familiar cotton set to fluid modal or lustrous satin, the fabric shapes how your pajamas look, move and feel. Explore these four sourcing directions for your next collection.
Fiber and construction work together. Cotton, modal and viscose describe fiber composition. Satin describes a woven construction, so its fiber content must be specified separately. Knit or woven structure, weight and finishing also influence the finished fabric.
Cotton
Natural fiber · Woven or knit
Cotton gives you a wide range of familiar sleepwear textures. A woven poplin can create a neat button-front set, jersey offers a more relaxed T-shirt feel, and brushed cotton brings a softer surface to a winter collection.
- Suitable styles
- Striped or checked shirt sets, short pajamas, cotton Henley sets and seasonal brushed styles.
Modal
Regenerated cellulose fiber
Modal is a useful direction when you want a soft handfeel and a fluid silhouette. Modal jersey or a suitable blend can let a men's pajama top and pants fall close to the body without the crisp outline of a woven cotton set.
- Suitable styles
- Soft Henley pajamas, T-shirt sets and relaxed lounge-to-sleep collections.
Viscose
Regenerated cellulose fiber
Viscose offers a flowing drape for softer men's pajama silhouettes, in both woven and knit fabrics. Bamboo viscose belongs to this family: it is regenerated cellulose made from bamboo-derived pulp. It can also be explored for smooth, softly draping sleepwear.
- Suitable styles
- Printed button-front sets, fluid short pajamas and soft jersey lounge sets.
Satin
Woven construction · Composition specified separately
Satin's weave creates a smooth face and a lustrous appearance, making it a direction for dressier men's pajama sets. Polyester and viscose are possible compositions; "satin" alone does not tell you the fiber content or mean the fabric is silk.
- Suitable styles
- Piped button-front pajamas, coordinated gift sets and printed shirt-and-pant collections.
Certifications follow the fabric, not the factory. OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and GRS options are available on request. Tell us your market and we will confirm exactly what each certification covers on that specific fabric before sampling — we do not present a certificate as covering everything we produce.
Share the handfeel, season, target price and reference swatch you have in mind. Our team can help source suitable options; compositions, weights, colors and finishes are confirmed for your project.
Explore our fabric knowledge hub →Develop the top and pants as a complete set
Your target fit starts with clear garment measurements. Our team can work from your size chart or reference set, then refine the top and pants through sampling.
Top Fit & Proportion
Define the shoulder shape, chest room and lengths for the look you want. Review the shirt with the arms moving as well as in a standing position.
- A Shoulder width
- The shoulder span and intended shoulder position.
- B Chest width
- Garment width and the room required through the chest.
- C Shirt length
- Length from the agreed shoulder reference to the hem.
- D Sleeve length
- Length to the cuff, with upper-arm room reviewed in fit.
Pant Fit & Movement
Set the waist, rise and leg proportions together. Seat and thigh room also need to suit the fabric and the way the pants sit, bend and move.
- A Waist width
- Confirm relaxed and extended waist measurements.
- B Front rise
- Review front and back rise separately in the specifications.
- C Inseam
- Leg length from the agreed crotch point to the hem.
- D Leg opening
- The hem width for your straight, relaxed or cuffed finish.
Grading on a men's block
A men's set is not a scaled-up women's block. Chest, waist and hip proportions, shoulder width and inseam move at different rates across a size range, so grading is developed on a men's block and checked on a fit sample in every size.
We set the grading plan with you before quoting, so the size list you approve is the size list we produce.
Plus and extended sizes
Where a range includes plus or extended sizes, the change is in proportion rather than circumference: the rise deepens, the thigh opening widens, and the inseam is re-specified instead of stretched.
Extended sizes are set on fit samples before the grading is locked. We do not publish a fixed size run for men's, because your chart is what we grade to.
The waistband decides the measurement
Full elastic, elastic with a working drawstring, and elastic-back waistbands are all produced — and each one changes how the waist is measured and where the tolerance sits.
The construction is fixed before the size chart is signed off, not after. This is the most common cause of a re-cut on a first men's order.
These diagrams show selected garment measurement points, without preset sizes. We agree the measuring method and size specifications during product development, then use the approved sample as the production reference. Our pajama size chart page shows how points of measure are defined.
Discuss your size requirements →Customize your men's pajama details
The collar, waistband and finishing details give a set its character. Share your design direction and we can develop these elements alongside your private labels and packaging.

Collars, Plackets & Buttons
Develop a notch collar, camp collar or Henley neckline. Button size, placket proportions and piping can be included in your design specifications.
Waistbands, Drawcords & Fly Details
Discuss the elastic waistband construction, drawcord and fly opening. Confirm whether the fly is functional, mock or omitted, together with the finish you prefer. Front rise is measured to the fly seam, so the fly type is settled before the size chart — it is the one detail specific to men's bottoms that changes the pattern itself.
Pockets & Pattern Direction
Adjust chest or side pocket shape, opening and position. Stripe direction and pattern placement can be included in the garment specifications.
Your Labels & Packaging
Complete your private label men's pajamas with brand, size and care labels, hangtags and packaging. Confirm the placement and artwork with the garment sample.

Custom printed men's pajamas, made around your artwork
Give a long pajama set, summer shirt-and-shorts set or relaxed Henley set its own identity. Repeating geometrics, seasonal illustrations and signature motifs can carry your collection across the top and pants, while a placed graphic or embroidered logo creates a more focused detail.
With our own printing equipment and embroidery operations, our team can coordinate your artwork, fabric and garment development within the same manufacturing setup. You can review the print scale, colors, placement or stitch detail with the sample, then carry the approved design into bulk production.
All-over and placement describe the artwork layout. We review the printing method against your fabric composition and design; embroidery details are developed with the garment sample.
All-over print vs. placement print: what's the difference? →Checked against your spec, not a general standard
Inspection on men's sleepwear starts with the two problems that show up most often: shrinkage, and waistbands that stop recovering. Both are measured against tolerances agreed in your order.
- Shrinkage and finished measurement checked after washing, against the agreed tolerance
- Waistband elastic recovery and drawstring security, tested after repeated extension
- Colourfastness to washing and to rubbing, compared with your approved reference
- Seam strength and stitch density on load-bearing seams — shoulder, side seam, crotch
- Button and placket pull strength, plus pocket attachment

MOQ, lead time and pricing
Men's programs usually start smaller than women's, because a new colourway is the test rather than a new silhouette. The structure below reflects that, and separates stock fabric from fabric that has to be developed.
| Stock fabric | Developed fabric or custom print | |
|---|---|---|
| MOQ | 100 pcs per style per colour | Quoted per design; a fabric minimum applies |
| Sampling | 7–14 days | 7–14 days plus print or dye development |
| Bulk | 24–30 days after sample approval | Confirmed once fabric is booked |
| Price drivers | Fabric weight, trims, label count, quantity | Adds print method, colour count and dye lot |
Quotes are issued against a named fabric, not a range, so the number you receive is the number the order runs at. If a first order needs to test several colourways, keep the fabric stock-supported and vary colour and trim. Men's pajama manufacturing FAQ
Practical details for your first sample, custom size requirements and production schedule.
What is your MOQ for custom men's pajamas?
Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per style per color on stock fabrics. Custom prints, yarn-dyed stripes and dedicated dye lots carry their own fabric minimum, so those are quoted per design rather than per style. Send your planned quantities and size breakdown so our team can review the order requirements.
Can we start without a tech pack?
Yes. You can send a reference image, sketch or physical sample with your fabric and fit preferences. Our team can help develop the specifications needed for sampling.
Can you work with our own men's size chart?
Yes. Send the top and pant measurements, target size range and any reference garments. We grade to your points of measure and audit the finished garment against them before shipment. If your chart is incomplete, we fill the gaps during sampling and send the completed sheet for signature before bulk starts.
Can you produce plus and extended sizes?
Yes. Extended sizes change in proportion rather than circumference — the rise deepens, the thigh opening widens and the inseam is re-specified. They are set on fit samples before the grading is locked, and the grading is developed from your chart, not converted from a women's range.
Can we order men's sleep pants without the matching top?
Yes. Bottoms are developed as stand-alone styles with their own waistband, rise and inseam specification. Most men's programs reorder this way — replacing a colour or a size rather than the whole set.
Can you add our prints, logo and private labels?
Yes. Our in-house printing and embroidery operations support custom artwork and brand details alongside your private labels. Share the artwork and preferred placement so our team can review them with your fabric and sample; explore the print and embroidery options.
How long do sampling and bulk production take?
Sample development usually takes 7–14 days, while bulk production typically takes 24–30 days for standard constructions, depending on the project. Print development and peak-season fabric booking extend both. Our team will confirm the order schedule; shipping time is separate.
Can we reorder an approved style in a new color?
We can review a repeat or new-color order using the approved style as the reference. Fabric availability, color requirements, quantity and timing are reconfirmed for the new order. Because the pattern and size chart are already approved, a repeat order skips sampling.
